President
Cassandra Krane, born and raised in New Jersey, has always enjoyed being around the arts—whether it’s a casual painting session or snapping a great photo. While she doesn’t consider herself an artist, she appreciates all kinds of creative expression and values the way the arts bring people together. As President of the Board of Trustees for the Brick Township Art Council, Cassie brings a friendly, collaborative approach and a genuine interest in supporting a welcoming, inclusive arts community that encourages people to get involved and have fun.

Christopher Young
Board Member
Chris Young is a versatile saxophonist, woodwind artist, educator, composer, arranger, and bandleader. As an active performer and recording artist, he appears regularly throughout the Mid-Atlantic region in a wide range of musical settings—from wedding bands and chamber ensembles to club dates with singer-songwriters, blues groups, hip-hop artists, and funk acts.
Chris holds both a Bachelor and Master of Music from Towson University, as well as a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from Rowan University. In addition to his musical pursuits, he serves as the Employer Relations Coordinator for the School of Communication, Media, and Performing Arts at Rider University. In this role, Chris acts as a vital link between students, faculty, the surrounding community, and employers—dedicated to building and nurturing partnerships that lead to job, internship, and career development opportunities for students.

Born and raised in Belleville, NJ, Cherie is a passionate Promotions Director with over 13 years of marketing experience, currently leading the charge for four New Jersey radio brands in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. With a BA in Arts & Communication from William Paterson University, she thrives on creating exciting events and contests that connect communities with the station brands!
When she’s not planning and running a promotional event, you’ll find her rocking out at concerts or cheering on the Yankees! Fueled by coffee, she enjoys a good beach day, great reads, and exploring new places.
